Lock Card does not sell your data, does not track you across apps, and has no accounts, analytics or advertising. The wallpapers you make stay on your phone.
What the app stores
Your wallpapers — colours, words, layout, drawings and doodles — are stored on your device, in the app's own storage. They never leave the phone unless you share or save an image yourself.
Photos
When you tap Save, the app asks for permission to add a photo to your library, and uses it only to put the wallpaper you just made into Photos. It does not request or receive permission to read your library, and cannot see your existing photos.
Subscriptions
Lock Card Pro is sold through Apple. Apple handles payment; the app never sees your card details. To confirm and manage subscriptions the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history — the plan, when it started and renews, and its status — under a random identifier created for your install. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple Account, and is not used to track you. The app's own backend (hosted on Convex) keeps a copy of that subscription status under the same random identifier, so it can be supported and restored.
Network
Otherwise the app goes online only to keep itself up to date: it asks Expo's update service whether newer app code exists, and asks its backend whether this version is still supported. Those requests carry the app version, the platform and a random install identifier. Your wallpapers, words and drawings are never sent anywhere.
What is never collected
- No name, email, phone number or Apple Account details.
- No location, contacts or health data.
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across apps or sites.
- No third-party analytics, and no copy of anything you make.
This website
The landing page keeps one number: how many wallpapers visitors have spun with the “Make one” button. Pressing it adds one to a total on the app’s own backend (Convex). Nothing is stored about who pressed it — no account, no identifier, no cookie — and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Like any server, Convex and the host see the request itself, including the IP address it came from.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Deleting a wallpaper removes it from the device; deleting the app removes everything it stored. Images already in Photos stay there for you to delete. To have the subscription records for your install deleted, write to us — that does not cancel a subscription, which is done in your Apple Account settings.
